So a nz$50 deposit might land as roughly forty-something usd depending on the day's rate, minus a wee conversion cut from somewhere. your balance then lives in usd, and when you withdraw they flip it back to nz$ for you. Which is exactly why the mental arithmetic gets so annoying 😄
